Iā€™m giving Archie a little piece of sweet potato or yam every week or so. Would just brushing a fingertip drop of honey on it do him any harm?

I know Iā€™m anthropomorphizing his culinary tastes because this sounds tastier to ME!

No, Honey causes Botulism from the bacteria called Clostridium botulinum. It causes severe neurological damage in infants. It could be potentially fatal to a parrot.

BTW, sweet potatoes & yams are sweet enough without any added sweetners.
