homemade toys for a new Jardine Parrot?

I made him a swing perfectly but he just chewed the wood. It's industrial wood so I removed it because of chemical products concerns. Any other toys idea? Or games I can play?
P.S. I can't get him out if the cage since it's only been 1 week. But he's not that nippy

If you can get your hands on UNTREATED wood, you can cut that up and make toys for him. It's a good thing that he's chewing and destroying his toys...that's the whole purpose.

And yes, NEVER use treated wood, it can be deadly.

Most stores have untreated pine for sale. My local lowes has a massive selection of untreated pine. If you aren't sure what is treated or not ask a employee, I was told that the untreated pine is light in color while treated pine is very dark.
