Homemade holiday gifts! Photos

Don't celebrate "Christmas" per se (may put up a tree or something though), but hubby still insists I do stuff up for everyone in our immediate families. I do homemade gifts over store bought (hand made, hand embroidered and ever rhinestone hand-set):

For my mom, this is a (loose) representation of her 'favorite' of her parrots, Lucy the DYH:

For my sister in law, her initial and some flowery swirly designs:

My mother in law is kind of into all the farmers market and stuff and wouldn't like "bling" so this one is for her

And a 'gift' for myself, new cushions for my rocking chair, which was somewhat like sitting on a slab of cement before!

My mom almost got a very special delivery too, but he was just a little too plump to fit in the box!

I have a friend that does the same thing. Home made comes straight from the heart. Great Job

Those bags are really cool. I am not that crafty, so I would never attempt it, but I love hand made gifts. I paid my friend to knit dog sweaters for my friend's dogs as a gift....my knitting friend gets some extra cash and my doggy friend gets some beautiful gifts. That's as close to 'hand made' as I got.
