Feel like I've learnt so much the past few days with Holli.

She is coming out the cage so well, steps up when I ask her too now and greets me and any other people with me a beautiful hello.

I'm not sure if I'm meant to upset the routine, but breakfast was out the cage on her play gym this morning. She isn't eating a whole lot but I'm hoping as she settles she will begin to eat more.

At night, when she goes back in we are trying to make it a nice positive thing, she gets a treat and we talk in her room, until we finally leave her playing with toys. She does let out maybe one or two calls but nothing drastic.

This morning she has been mouthing my hand, she was using her foot to pull me towards her. Then she made a violent head movement!? I was then given the gift of regurgitated food :D not something il be encouraging too much, but sweet none the less.

Her play gym, which she loves, allows me to study, (same with Loki) as it keeps their attention and in my breaks we play again, and back and forth.

I noticed Jack mention to our best friend he's really nervous with her, he loves her, but when alone was intimidated to take her out. Which is fine, because instead he read his science uni work to her in her cage and kept her company.

She hasn't really bitten me, bar the first day when I was being too nosey and deserved it. She does when mouthing bite a little too hard though sometimes. An I hate to have to walk away because she didn't mean it

Hope your all well,

Hi Joshua. :)

Sounds like Holli is settling in really quickly, which is GREAT news. :D

What, you mean to tell us you are not too fond of some gurgies? LOL I don't encourage Niko to do it either, and whenever he gets carried away with it, I distract him, or, if all else fails, I put him in his cage for a while so that he can snap out of it. :)

Jack may still be a bit intimidated by the big beak. Perhaps in time he'll feel easier handling Holli. And if not, reading to her is GREAT! Offering food is another good way to win her heart.

You are making great strides with her!!

I dont mind the reguritation, I more so worrt she will get carried away too lol.

He had her on his arm and he was doing step up with her, which I think is fantastic.

I wouldbt usually shoulder, but she preened so gently and I couldn't help it. Wont be a regular thing because I dont want to be to get hurt, but still x
