Sulfer Crested Cockatoo and a Severe Macaw
I currently have a Lesser Sulfer Crested Cockatoo and a Severe Macaw. They are my live. I am currious on if anyone has looked into heathly cleaning products that are not harmful to these beautiful animals. I got an all natural cleaner from trader joes but it has ceder and sage oil and I am unsure (and can not find info on those oils through google) on its safetly. Any help and or tips would be great. I am happy to have found a site with other bird lovers. I have 16+ years working with large birds. I hope to eventually add a blue and gold or green wing to the mix of my feathered children.

Hi Syn and welcome to the forum, might try looking into Shacklee, their at just about every bird expo that I go to and my avian club has put a link to their homepage on our website, I haven't used their products yet but many folks I've talked to swear by them as they use all natural ingredients, I'll give you the link and you can give them the once over and see if thats what your looking for...good luck :)

thanks for the heads up. I will check it out. My poor boyfriend does not know what to do with all the changes. I am making him buy new pans (he has teflon) All natural hair and cleaning products, and before I moved in He was afraid of birds. Now he holds the girls as much as I do... lol I love how knowledge can show people the love these animals have. Do share your experiences and stories about your feathered friends with me. :white1: I hope to have pics of my girls up in the next week or so.
