His best purpose

His best purpose.......neighborhood watch. With just his noises I know what's going on outside. We have three dogs that are 70 to 175 pounds that are oblivious to what is going on outside, but this little one pound bird always alerts the house. One certain squawk from him and all three dogs leap to look out the window. Even in the dead of night when everyone is sleeping, if the bird growls, everyone gets up.

I have a dual system, if the dogs bark the parrots bark or scream. If the parrots scream the dogs bark.
Except for the dead of night , my parrots are off shift, and it's just the dogs.
