Every morning at the crack of dawn Kenji does a few macaw calls, then immediately tells himself to be quite LOL
It's pretty loud when he does this, but not as loud as a true macaw call. This is the first time I filmed it, from bed of course since it's 6:30 in the morning and I had to be sneaky so he didn't see my Iphone haha. After he's been quite for a few minutes I open his cage for him.

*Edit*

I just realized he is saying "F**** Off" or "Shut up" in a macaw voice(he says hello like a macaw too). Can't really tell which, I never tell them either of those so he didn't learn it from me

Ok... I'm dieing here.
You're really making me miss having a grey in the house. When I was involved with rescue I had several come through with potty beaks. SO funny. Inappropriate, but funny, none the less!

I'm glad he doesn't say it well XD He says "oh SH**" Perfect haha
I love how he says you have to be quite so perfect & no screaming XD

I learned a long time ago (the hard way) never to let your grey hear anything you don't want to hear all the time. I won't go into how many times I've been cussed out by something less than a foot tall. I had one grey who came into me with a horrendous potty beak. Every time she'd say sh*t, I'd tell her "We don't talk like that!". As a result, every time she heard ME say sh*t, she'd equally correct me by telling me "we don't talk like that!" However, it wasn't just the words. She was a severely plucked grey, so her body language was quite comical. Every time I picture her extending her neck attached to her nearly naked chest and holding out her over preened wings, I giggle. It's hard to take something serious that looks like it was groomed with a weed eater. But WOW did she ever have some personality! I wish I could have adopted her but as rescue director, it was forbidden.

It's funny how they say things in response to something. Every time I change Kenji's food or water he says "want some water".

That is a very funny image in my head with the body language LOL
