Hi I am new to the forum. I have two bluefronted amazons Beaker and Indy. I have had Beaker for over 15 years, he is at least 25 and he was willed to me when my step dad past away. I really don't have alot of history on him except to know I am at least his third owner. My mom gave me Indy about a year ago. My Aunt is actually the one who who breed her parrots. Two weeks ago I finally got them in the same cage. YAY! I am so excited I got a nesting box yesterday so I can start breeding them. Any suggestions to make this transitition for them successful?:green:

Welcome to the forum. I am assuming if your aunt is a breeder she will be teaching you hands on how to hand-feed babies and raise them right. Only other bit of advice is to think long and hard about making Beaker a breeder. Once a bird becomes a breeder (especially amazons) they are no longer of 'pet quality'. After 15 years with this bird, consider your decision to loose him as a companion bird carefully.
