Hi, my name is Cassandra and I have recently acquired a female parakeet. I have named her Echo and she is around 4-6 months old. I will be honest, I don't know a lot about birds so I have signed up here in hopes that I will have help if it is needed. I look forward to being an active member of this forum

Hi! Parakeet is just a name for a long tailed parrot. The actual name is budgerigar, budgie for short. I have 5 budgies. They are Marigold, Skye, Thmble, Chubba Chubs and Lexi. I had 6 budgies but I recently sold one. I think I said in your other post that I had 6. What colour is her cere? Is she going through her moult?
