Hi!
My name is Emma and I'm from Victoria, Australia. I currently have 4 beautiful little Fids - A Cockatiel called Tonks, and 3 Lovebirds, Sid, Johnny and Aussie.
All of my babies are reasonably 'new' to me - I'm not sure how old Tonks is, but I've only had him for a few days, and my Lovies are roughly 5 months old (been with me for 3 months).
I grew up with a Galah and lived with a Sulphur Crested Cockatoo for 2 years, but thought I'd better start small with my own Fids - and I definitely don't regret that decision! These guys might be tiny but they certainly make up for that in personality!
All of my birds were parent raised and not tamed at all (as far as I know), but we're getting there slowly. My Lovies seem to prefer each others company but will eat from my hand, and we are slowly trying to teach them to 'step up'. Tonks has only been here a few days, but will eat from my hand and allow me to touch him as long as I go slow. He won't step up onto my hand yet, but is happy to step up onto a perch.
Anyway, I look forward to getting to know you all and hearing all of your experiences with your beautiful feathered friends!
