Hi everyone! How are you? My name is Jake and I am parrot fanatic. haha. I am only 16 years old but already LOVE birds. I got my first bird on my 15th birthday. He is a little budgie boy named Nikko. Here he is:

I also have Oscar, he is my Lutino Cockatiel. I got him from the Pet land that I work at. I went to work one day and found this little guy in the back badly beaten up. He had been attack by three of his tank mates for reasons unknown. But he is here with me and better now. Here he is:

My third bird is a Timneh African Grey named Eeyore. He is a 9 year old rehome. I got him from an ex coworker, she was going through a divorce and could no longer keep him.
Here he is:

I have some other pets too. I have a Dog named Maggie. She is Pekingese that My mother and I drove to Zaleski Ohio for. It was a 3-4 hour drive but it was so worth it. She is something like 10-12 years old. Here she is:

Other than that I have 3 fish tanks up and running. I have one fish tank with a betta and platy combo. This:

My other ten gallon had a turtle in it. He has recently escaped though and I have not been able to find him yet. And the third tank is a tank for the guppy fry that I bred to feed the turtle.

I am looking forward to spending lots of time here and look forward to getting to know all of you. If you have any questions please ask. :)

Thanks,
Jake

Thanks all for your compliments and welcomes. :)

Blue Toast- Nope, they are great together. I belong to a fish forum and they walked me through putting my betta with the platys. The trick is to add them either at the same time or add the betta later. That way the betta does not think the platys are invading his territory. And the platys are not known for fin nipping so they work well together. Makes for a beautiful tank.

Hello Jake. Beautiful family you have there.
I am in to fishkeeping too. I have two tanks, 135gal freswater and a 49gal freshwater.
