Hi, I am Tienie from East London South Africa.

I have what I think is a girl cockatiel, named Peaches. She is about 5 months old now.

She has a pvc stand with all her favourite toys: string, cable ties and some paper to shred.

She is an only child at the moment. I might get a Senegal parrot much later if things work out.

Peaches is very tame, loves watching youtube videos with me on my phone while she keeps clicking on different videos.

Very entertaining, and I am busy researching how to make parrot toys so that I don't go broke.

Thanks for the warm welcome guys.

Bought a flight cage that was on sale today and now Peaches has loads of space.

Got some guava branches from way out of town (where there are no people to no pesticides)

Going to make a nice wood perch for when she is out of the cage.

Lots to do and so much to learn still.

Haven't been here for a while. My asthma got really bad and I had to find Peaches a new home.

It has been a week and my chest still has not cleared up 100%

I am considering keeping 2 budgies, hopefully my lungs will be OK with that.

Very sad as I really did love Peaches and since I had a cockatiel while growing up I did not think that it would be a problem now.

Very sorry to know you have asthma. Would a hi-capacity air cleaner help with your budgies?
