Senegal Male Bogart
Hi all my name is James and I love parrots, at this moment I have one senegal named Bogart he is 10 yrs old and I've hand him for 7 of those. When I'm not working construction I help out at a pet store hand taming birds for the store and for customers who are at whits end. I maintain that I had much prefer to be bitten by a Macaw than a budgie or smaller birds the small birds really mean it when they bite the big ones do it more as a bluff and will leave you with a black and blue bruise but those little guys clamp down and hold on like a vice. I started my love affair with parrots while in Key West I went to a pet store for my fluffy and furry fix ( traveling as much as I do I didn't think I could own a pet) there I met a Severe Macaw named Elmo his owner had moved from Key West to Alaska and left the bird to be sold at the pet store and when he locked eyes with me something happened I could not afford his price but I started to read everything I could on birds, and found that hotels that don't allow dogs or cats will allow birds so in less than a year I was the proud owner of a pair if Green cheeks Stan & Ollie I was hooked.

Hi and welcome to the forum. Besides all the info gained from our experienced members we get to meet and chat with people from all over the world all interested in the same thing. I live in Wisconsin and face many different issues than the warmer climate states and countries have. With your training knowledge you`ll be a great asset to our forum.
I have 2 female U2s Cameo and Tasha both rescues and are really great loving birds. A bit demanding but lots of fun.
