hi all....new "dad" to a parakeet

hi all,

Just joined cause im probaly gonna be asking ALOT of question, due to me being a new parakeet owner.

First off, heres some more about me (and the bird)

My name is Chad, im 31 years old and a volunteer firefighter AND a volunteer at my local animal shelter.

im a first time parakeet owner (never had a bird period, just cats and dogs)

my GF and I just (and I mean JUST got him) today.

so in short.......be ready for ALOT of questions
