Hey there -

My double yellow headed amazon, Mischief, and I literally grew up together.
My avatar? That's us (with my father) nearly 25 years ago.

Mischief recently came under my care.

It's been a challenge - although he and I have always been very fond of each other, my father was his "mate" in my family.
Mischief is very affectionate towards me, but doesn't seem to understand simple commands I give.

Joined the forum because I have a lot to learn - specifically I need to train myself. I need to learn how I can understand him and work with him.

Looking forward to getting to know you all better and sharing experiences.
