My sons new 9 week old teil..I think he is leaning toward naming him Pikachu or Gizmo.Any training tips are welcome..

He is actually out of show stock from Cindy Swiler.Not that this is important for us but kinda cool.He is pretty scared but did sit on my hand in the cage for a bit.

Thanks, my son is quite happy.We had no idea it was going to be a lutino.When she said a lutino pied I assumed it would be a grey and yellow mix..I personally think there is nothing cuter then a tiel, well maybe a greencheek with his little face all puffed out. But otherwise tiels top my list for cuteness.

When they're young like that I would highly suggest you to clip his wings. It would make the training a lot easier! Then teach him to step up by holding your finger to his chest and say step up. Repeat this over and over. They learn quick from being young and curious. I walk around the house with the babies on my shoulders as they love to ride around with you.

His wings are clipped.She asked us before we picked him up.Two of the primary feathers were left so it makes him looked unclipped. Its going to be very hard for me to keep my hands off this cutie.But I promised my son I wouldnt take over so I have to sit on my hands and just give advice.

it was so awesome he ate out of my sons hand this morning and climbed his arm and nibbled his hair.He is also starting to chirp, so he must be getting comfortable.
