so I know you're going to say take her to the vet..... but basically, she has a little heater and i just looked and its covered in dry blood. Its not internally bleeding, her droppings are fine. its her foot. ive mentioned this here before, and we took her to a vet, they said it was a nail that had grown wrong and would never grow out again. But now it was bleeding like crazy, but it stopped. like i barely noticed there was even blood on her, and the foot is not abnormally swollen... has this happened to anyone before? should we call the vet? She looks normal now.

You can use baking powder, dry, to stop bleeding if it occurs again. Try to catch it early, they dont have a lot of blood to lose!

ok thank you... i hope it doesn't start again

You must have been terrified! Fortunately birds don't freak at the sight of their own blood!
