Help - weird dark spots on my red lory beak

My red lory started to develop weird bruise-like spots on her beak a few weeks ago

Her comportment didn't change at all so my father doesn't want to take her to the vet but still, I worry

Does anyone know what those spots could be ?

Not that I know of, I suspected she might have bruised herself by chewing on the bars of her cage, but I never caught her doing it and the spots don't seems to fade with time

Bruising on the beak can sometimes be caused by liver problems. You might want to get that checked out; although the location of the bruising looks like it could simply be from chewing the cage bars too hard.
