help! Washington conure breeders?!?

Please please please help me out!!!
I really would Like to buy a green cheek conure. Just a normal.
But I can't find any breeders in Washington that aren't over $200.
if you can please help.Thanks

If that's the going price, and that's what you want, I would rather pay for a nicely bred bird.

Speaking as someone who's just gone out and spent $300 on a cage, food, and various toys for a new arrival, if you're struggling to find a breader that can get you a conure for under $200, you might want to think about the costs involved in keeping a bird, not just the bird itself.

That said, check craigslist/gumtree/whatever, sometimes I spot people giving away their birds for whatever reason for free or cheap. Just make sure you ask why they're giving away their pet.

$200 is the normal price for a GCC from a breeder from what I've seen-- they're often more.

None of them have any at the moment, but I bet if you contacted them they would be able to tell you when they expect another clutch and prices. That way you can prepare.
