Hi everyone!

We are a group of students from Leiden University (The Netherlands), conducting a fascinating project about parrots and their musicality. To help us develop promotional materials for our study, we’ve created a short survey specifically for parrot owners.

If you’re a proud parrot owner, we’d love to hear from you! Completing the survey will take just 2 minutes, and your input would greatly contribute to our research.

Thank you so much for your time and support—we truly appreciate it! Feel free to share the survey with other parrot enthusiasts.

What an interesting thing. I'm fascinated. Please keep us posted. Science rocks!!

I took your survey!

 I have a total of 9 parrots and none are even slightly musical

Taken. Salty, when the mood is on him, sings up a storm. Some his own stuff, some songs we taught him or he's heard on YT.

Nameliss has wide range of mimicking. When she sings does she mimic someone who can actually sing? Nope! She mimics my family who couldn't carry a vocal tune if it were solid, encased in titanium with handles. No one is allowed to sing/hum around her! Took survey. Interested in results.

Thank you all for taking the survey! This will help us greatly and so wonderful to hear your interest in the project :) We will keep you posted with the results. If you want to know more about the project you can also check out their social media: Bird Singalong Project on Facebook, @birdsingalongproject on Instagram.

They aren’t going to want to hear my parrot sing. He sounds like an old man who has a really stuffy (plugged) nose. It’s not delightful by any means. He try’s though. This is a Kermit the frog situation. He hums a lot.

Here’s Blue humming a song… he seems to really enjoy music ❤️❤️❤️
