I do have two cats -Riply & Nano bites-
four snakes- china, dip & stick, and Grand Chahee-
Grrr! I just visited a friend, (who invited me to visit her next door neighbour) I wasent in there vary long when I noticed they had a budgie and a teal in a 40 gal reptile tank, lid on.
he said he had the teal for 5 years and the budgie for 2, apparently the snake he had for 7 years froze so he got rid of the cages and put his birds togather, he said they are happy in the cage ( I left quickly, the sight upset me) they have vary low branches and I dont think he really cleaned the tank before he put them in there, the budige is up againt the far wall and seems to stick to "His area" nither birds seem to make much noise and they look alittle ragged, like they are moth eaten, could they have mites?
The man said they sometimes play with eachother but when they do, theres a lot of screaming and sometimes alittle blood cause they play hard. I dont believe him, but I dont know how to go about telling him he needs his birds in a bigger tank if hes going to keep them in a fish tank, or real cages.
