Hello and Welcome!

The first bird you have pictured is a Patagonian Conure (we have one on our Forum who is a bit of a celebrity around here!)

The second I'm not quite so sure of, but I suspect it might be a red-rumped parrot, of the genus Psephotus of Australian parrots. But I'm sure one of our resident taxonomy buffs will let me know if I'm wrong about that :)

I've included some images below....

1. Patagonian Conure

2. Red rumped parrot

Hope this helps!

I had originally thought that myself but I don't think so. Based on the image below of a turquoise, there is a lot more contrast between the bright blue on the face as compared to the rest of the neck and body.

Plus yours has red on the rump at the base of the tail and lacks the red on the wing. But like I say, we do have a number of other members who might be able to be more definite about that than me, and hopefully they'll respond a bit later.

Ps no parrots have breeds. We're talking about species;)

Thank you Rozalka, I knew that you would know :)

All patagonians make me laugh because my first thought is always Ricky Bird LOL

lol, me too :D Since I am here on PF, each time when I see patagonian conures in real life I think "Rickeybirds!":D

For example - here are few Rickeybirds in one of Polish zoos :p
