really need more info than what's given to give you a concrete answer.

I'm going to ignore talking for now. Short summary for speaking not all CAGs like to talk, they'll only talk if they want to, some prefer mimicking random noises, others never mimic any noise.

How old is he?

Is he a adoption with any background or is he a bought bird?

Do you know if his previous family was abusive or loving?

have you been sat talking to him?

How are you approaching his step-up? Do you offer him the opportunity with an immediate reward in sight for him? OR do you just shove your hand in front of him? He most likely doesn't understand what you want, also parrots especially CAGs are extremely opinionated.

for the time being read these threads over and over aloud until your throat hurts, then give another read of them. They should help you figure out your parrot and how to approach them, just always remember they are far from animals like dogs who want nothing more than to please us. For a parrot we have to please them!

My only addition to the above is while you are reading the above Thread aloud. Do this while sitting next to your CAG's cage!!!

Enjoy the read!

Thank you guys for replying my cag is 8 month old , i buy him from a pet store , he was so wild and aggressive he bite toooooo much but now he stop bitting and he dont accept to let me pet his head more than few second , when i try to make him step up he dont accept , i put my hand in font of his tummy and in the other hand i try to give him a treat sunflower seed
But someone told me dont train him in or on the cage

Three weeks is still a short time for your cag to feel safe and comfortable. Many greys do not like much physical contact, they are not typically cuddly companions.

The three threads suggested by LordTriggs are among the best in the forum!

Also read threads in this Grey forum that are updates on other people's Greys. You will get a lot of specific info in those, things people did or didn't do, and things they changed and the results from those changes.

well you've already made a load of progress considering he was violent

what you need to do is assume that at the pet store people kept trying to shove their fingers in his cage en mass so he has a very valid reason to be scared of people and being as intelligent as he is he can and most likely will hold a grudge against humanity requiring you to prove we're not all bad.

Just read talk, offer treats around him, win him with kindness and let him decide to trust you over time. He'll be around for the rest of your life easily so there's no need to rush things
