Help! I think my YSGGC is trying to lay an egg.
We have been battling her hormones for some time now and have tried to put more pellets in her diet and she is eating about 75% pellets to 25% seeds now. She also has been on a strict bed time of 1030pm to 1030am (this is best due to my husband working a late schedule), and we have been trying to rearrange her cage and also careful handling not to touch her wings and underside.
So today she is desperately trying to find the right dark place to get into and seems to have a slight bulge down by her vent area. What do I do? Do I allow her to go into a dark place and do her thing or do I discourage this behavior? If she does manage to lay an egg what do I do with it to keep her from laying more?
