Raz keeps opening her beak in what looks like a silent scream... She just started about 20 min ago, her "nose" area is dry and clean so she does not have a "runny nose" and she is eating normal. Her vet has her on benedryl because even though we have removed everything that could be causing allergies (all candles, plug ins, cleaning products, scented shampoos ect have been changed to hypo allergenic or totally removed from the house) I just dont know if I should worry about this new behavior?

Oh my God THANK YOU! that is exactly what she was doing! She really made me worry, LOL seems like every time I turn around something else happens!

Good, I'm glad that's what it was! Crop adjustment can really look like something is wrong if you've never seen it before.

I do not remember my fosters ever doing that. But i also worked full time when I was fostering so they may have been doing it while i was away from home.

Haha when I first got my parrot & joined this forum, this was like my first question. I thought my parrot was choking or something, while in reality he was only "adjusting his crop". He could also be trying to regurgitate to you, which is actually a good thing..

Yes, I've noticed Mochi do this frmo time to time, after eating. It's like an extra 'swallowing' step. Sometimes, giving her water helps.
