So my sun is fickle and moody to begin with, when I got him he would bite the s*^# out of me. After he realized I refused to let it affect me he gave up. Don't get me wrong it hurt and he drew blood a couple of times, but I sucked it up. He is doing the same thing to my 8 yr old daughter the problem is she is really scared of his bites and he does it really hard. I know she is inadvertently teaching him "if I bite her she'll leave me alone" bc she gets scared and won't go near him again. Here's the weird part tho he'll fly to her from across the room and land on her shoulder or head and groom her hair but if her hand goes near him...chomp chomp! How do I get them to bond so he is a family bird!
