Greetings from the UK and thank you for letting me join!
I am a retired animal nurse and registered safe house for 2 parrot sanctuaries.
I am owned by a Greater Sulpher Crested cockatoo who had several previous homes and was allegedly vicious and untrainable. It has taken nearly two years to gain his full trust but he is now the softest dough ball imaginable and I am totally smitten!
I also have Florence, a 6 month baby Umbrella whose well meaning owners had to give up due to noise complaints in their apartment, she is adorable also and the conversations between the two of them are just hilarious.
Hubby is currently erecting a huge indoor flight aviary, when finished I am hoping to get a Hyacinth.....watch this space!!
