well I am looking for a place to swap some fun stories and my current bird and get a little support and maybe advice about the newest member of the family. After 2 years of planning and searching my husband and I adopted our very first macaw on wed. He was able to come home today after all of the necessary adoption paper work was taken care of and the weather was nice enough to bring him home. He is a 25-30yr old Military Macaw He can be very sweet and loving but also a little bit of a brat. He wasn't given all of the socializing he needed when he was younger. We plan on starting him off very slow and right back from the beginning as if he was a baby who knew nothing.

We do have 2 other bird 1 is a little Green Quaker parrot(quite the clown)he is my little lover bird, and we have a Green Cheek Conure X Sun Conure hybrid.
