- I recently adopted 2 Macaws
I just adopted/rescued 2 B&G Macaws. I'm a first time owner to this type of birds. I recently lost my African Grey.
I realize I have a lot of work to do, as these two sweeties were negleted.
One has a little feathers missing, therefore; I know she has plucked, although I haven't caught her doing so.
Upon there arrival, they ate like they were starved. Once in a while I've noticed them shaking a little.
I intend on giving these two a happy life. Any info would be most grateful..
Oh ones name is Pumpkin and the other is Ruffles. I would like to change those names;however, they seem to know them.
About myself, I'm 56 years old (as of the 4th of this month). I work part time. I live in Michigan, however; I was born and raised in Zanesville, Ohio.
