Hello everyone!
I'm currently the proud mum to 6 budgies (4 boys, 2 girls). They are all very tame, and have taken over a room which now contains their toys, foraging table, play gym, and natural branches to play in. They love to fly around the house when we're home and hang off the curtains or play hidies behind the curtains!
I've had different parrots/birds in the past (galah, cockatoos, budgies, canaries, chickens, ducks) so I was bitten by the bird bug a long time ago!
I've done a lot of research into budgies, however my focus has now turned to parrot behaviour generally and I'm finding this absolutely fascinating. I recently attended a workshop on this and it's sparked my interest in getting more parrots - if hubby agrees of course!
However before I venture down that path, I'd like to learn more about the wide range of pet parrots available from places like this forum. I'm looking forward to hearing about other people's babies (oops I mean parrots!) and their adventures!
