Happy to find this site. I have a 3 year old black-capped conure who is the most fun I've ever had with a pet. I only regret not getting a bird sooner. Looking forward to checking out the various forums to learn more about parrots in general. Thanks for having me.

Welcome to you and your baby! I have to agree, I had only thought of a bird as a 'pet' until our daughter brought one (Tango)into our lives! In fact, when she moved out, our reaction? Cool, but Tango stays!
