Hi there, I just joined this forum because I will soon be getting an eclectus parrot and even though I've done lots of research, theres nothing like hearing from people who actually own them and getting answers to a unique situation. Welcome to the forum!!! The choice is up to you on which sex to choose. I love either one as I've got a pair. But of course I love JoJo the boy a lot more cause he's very bonded with me, he's come a long ways since we've had them. He went from a scared bird to the sweetest bird ever but he doesn't do well with strangers in the house, he freaks and screams like no tomorrow. Good luck in which ever one you choose!
