Hi I'm a new Timneh mom as of today. I went to the bird show today hoping to come home with a Pionus and ended up getting a grey. I did the research, so it wasn't an impulse buy, I just didn't think I could afford a grey. My baby Escher is 10 months old and we hit it off immediately so I couldn't leave him/her there. I don't know if Escher is a boy or girl but will have my vet find out for me just so I can stop saying he if Escher is a she. I have a degree in art so the minute I saw this bird I knew Escher had to be it's name. Now all I have to do is resist the urge to spoil Escher rotten, that doesn't seem likely as we spoiled our dog rotten.

Welcome to the forum! There is absolutely nothing wrong with spoiling Escher. With birds it seems the more you spend time with them and spoil them the sweeter they are.
