Sorry about not being here
Slayor

hey good deal be careful about vitamins they're often times a gimick - If she's eating healthy she really doesn't need them.

Why did she need vitamins?

Pictures yeah we want to see Cracker :D

Did ya win your Soccer?

The vitamins are just to help her grow and to stay healthy

Slaya

then I would cut them out they can do more harm than good just concentrate on feeding her a good pellet seed mix and lots of fresh veggies and fruits

Here are the pictures and also I cant find veggies and fruite she likes what do u suggest?

Cracker is super cute ... Slayor, the key to a diet change is two-fold ... firstly, it's a slow process, don't change it all at once ... secondly, be persistant, offer a fruit or veggie more than once, birdies are not very apt to try new things the first time you offer it to them ... offer new veggies/fruits to Cracker 5 or 6 times before trying something else ... persistance is the key to success ..

Hey Slayor, great to finally see some pictures of Cracker. Cracker certainly looks great and has very nice coloring. I find that my 2 birds love red grapes the most, but I had trouble too with getting Popsicle to eat any fruits and veggies. I got her to finally start eating them when she would see me try it first. So I took a bite and then offered it to her and finally she caught on and snatches most things up right away. I found with Pepsi she would have to be offered it more then once then eat it. They also go crazy for green beans.

I give my birds a "fruit kabob" everyday. They eat what they want off it when they want.

Yanno, I think I am going to try the fruit kabob thing. Right now I just put their fresh food either on a plate or in a shallow bowl but they have to have it on the floors of their cages that way and it cant be done ahead of time (say make them up one day a week and freeze them maybe?).

Cracker is beautiful, definately need to see more pics of her.

Errol and Flynn would never eat fruit or veggies for a very long time, (they'd never had them before coming here) now though, they eat every bit thats put in their cage. Try lots of different fruit/veg and just keep offering them to her.

When I was trying to get Errol and Flynn to eat them I would put them in the cage and just say yum yum, and be eating a carrot stick myself, they finally got the hang of it, Now I put them in and Flynnie always says yum yum, (the only words she speaks) :D You will end up throwing most if not all of them away to begin with but she will soon get the hang of it.

What a cute and pretty little budgie, i had an exact one a few years back, its definitely a great small starter birdie!:D

So do think they would like celery? it just seems like something she would eat..?? I'll get some more pics but they are to big for the forum:52::so: so i have to sie them down

the key may be tiny bits of food at first and maybe try to attach them to a favorite toy or perch. things like greaps work best if you peel some of the skin off first so they can taste the juice - celery is good not too nutritonally dense though make sure it is soft enough she can nibble at itshe won'[t want to take big bites at first. good luck. try to make fresh food as appealing as possible and as with all things parrot consistency is a must.

Do you have a photobucket account (www.photobucket.com) its free and it makes it so easy to resize pics. You just upload you pics there, edit and resize. I usually do mine message board size, can't remember what size that is (well it it early in the morning here)

See Salyor, Photobucket is so easy even Peta can do it ... :D You should look into it ... (for the record, message board size is either 640 * 480 or 320 * 240

:33: Hey was that an insult there. :D

But no it really is easy, even I can do it, (sometimes) :o
