Hello my name is Mango an Eclectus, I just turned 2 on Sept 11.
I lave been caged for 2 years now with no family. Till recently by my new family Mark and Savuthy, and few other members they are Pipper, a green cheek conure, sasha and sampson both cats.
I was every shy when i came to the family, i did not like to be handled but my new family is working with me lilttle by little everyday. I like my cage to much, when i do get out i dart back. i have never had good food where i was last at, now i get alot of fruits and veggies but i dont know what they are and i just throw them out.
My owners are hoping many of you could lend a few words of encouragement to help me with the tansition into my new home.
They are able to take me out of the cage, but only after i've bit them a few times, once i'm out, i don't really mind being handled but i appear to be afraid. No mattter how kind and supportavie they are, everytime I get back to my cage I don't want to leave..
I talk very little, I know it will take time. But any advise would be helpful.
