Since I faild to first introduce my 2 birds here they are now. This was their first meeting

They are supposedly both girls but we're pretty sure new one is actually a boy, not a girl. What we're been told about the age should mean it's a girl for sure but what we observed so far this bird acts and looks like a boy. I'll keep calling it her anyway since we don't know for sure :) she is adopted and main reason why I joined this forum cause I had some questions to ask.
So here is our old girl

And here is our new girl getting accustomed to real baths and not just her water bowl baths and with that goes a question, is her right wing clipped? Or what's wrong with it if anyone knows

Looks like she had lost like 2 - 3 outer most primary feathers. Likely handling prior to coming to her forever home. Should be naturally replaced later this year.

Beautiful!! Congratulations! Welcome to the forum!

You need a couple wide perches if you make the ok hand signal then seperate your pointer finger and tgrumb an inche, you want one that size. It's the best size to allow the foot to relax and spreads out pressure points. Helps prevent arthritis.

Such beautiful parrots,! Wishing you all lots of love and happiness!

Thank you all for the kind words :) new bird has wood perches in her cage now, she had this one just for the time while webdrew her home, we don't use plastic perches. She has another cage as well, we haven't set it yet as it had rust on it, someone didn't do good job painting it so we decided to remove rust and have it painted again before we assemble it and put the bird in. I ordered some new perches as well cause it's a really large cage so there will be various sizes in it. Old one has also various sizes in hers and new ones ordered too, she chews them all lol I hope new girl gets her feathers back as she can't really fly right now, just a bit. We were told she bites and screams a lot but so far she's been golden. Compared to our old one her sound is song to our ears lol and she cuddles already! 2nd day she was out she is already comfortable stepping up on our hands. 1st day she seemed to not know what we want from her and didn't want to step up so I assume no one thought her that and probably wasn't very close with people.

Welcome.

You know how to do introductions, we all love pictures here.
That last photo is amazing, what beautiful colors.

Thank you :) their colors are amazing, we fell in love with lutino IRNs when we first saw them! Don't mind the dirty wing still lol she's just learning to have baths as she never had proper ones before, she just took baths in her water bowl. I thought our other one to bath this way, started from floor and now she's comfortable to jump in sink while water is running and gets proper bath. And she comes out looking like this lol

Welcome and be welcomed. The 'girls' are quite beautiful.

Generally, the painting of a cage is frowned upon, since most parrots will be climbing and chewing on cage bars and most paints will not stand up to that. Cages are usually powder coated, a process where powdered polyester is sprayed on electrostatically and then baked at high temperature to fuse and bond the powder to the bars. It is extremely tough and holds up well to the abuse strong beaks can dish out. If you start seeing chipped paint on the bars, I would consider a new cage.

Thank you all once again :)
About the paint for cage yes I'm familiar with them peeling off paint from cage bars, I had 2 budgies who did it before. Hen did the most part and male joined her I guess out of boredom lol she peeled paint from one cage so I got them new one thinking they might get poisoned from that but then she started same thing with new cage too. And there was no way to stop her in that mission. I know parrots mostly do that when they're bored but this one made it her mission lol she disn't even want to go out of cage, she found more fun in chewing paint. As for this one I analyzed cage and and it doesn't look so far as if she was chewing paint, cage seems just poorly painted prior so rust started showing due to excess water probably because she splashed around while bathing in her water bowl and paint layer is super thin. I hope we do decent job with painting it now and that she doesn't start removing paint but will keep an eye on it. She goes out every day and plays with other stuff around at home and cage will have toys in it as well. She's overall quite calm so far, doesn't make much noise, gets her playtime and she calms down then. The other one is hyperactive though lol

I cannot overemphasize the need to prevent chewing and ingestion of paint or rust. Many paints contain heavy metals, and rust is absolutely deadly in even small quantities. If financially viable, I would highly recommend purchasing new cages.

Oh yes, I'm aware of that how dangerous it can be. We got an eco friendly paint, VOCs free, odorless and suitable for use around babies and pets as stated. But first we also got rust remover and cleaned whole cage. Biggest part of where rust was at the bottom drawer of cage where bird can't reach in anyway. For some strange reason whoever handled her before had left water sitting in it so it got really rusty. We weren't told about this prior and we only found out when we went to pick them up. We bought cage she was in from previous owner as it's really spacious and she'll have it looking like new when we're done with it. We're very thorough and couldn't even consider having bird in cage until it's perfectly clean. Such large cage is out of option to buy again so since it was a good deal we decided to take it anyway to clean and paint it. We did a research on what paint to get and how to do it properly so I hope it will be all well when it's finished and she's moved in. So far it's looking really good, no rust left anywhere of course, paint is setting up well and drying up fast so hopefully will be done in 2 days. We'll keep an eye in case she shows interest in chewing it. So far I saw no traces that she ever chewed bars even before and in her travel cage she shows no interest in them either.
