Welcome! Can remember spending way too many hours out in the desert, no water, no hat, sneakers and shorts, 114 degrees! Did not even know the situation I was in until I realized, a- was feeling cool, b- wasn't perspiring at all, and, c- was sitting on a rock, watching the sand glitter! I still had a 5 mile walk out of that one! I still remember what I was called, and how badly they laughed at the 'stupid gringo'!
