Hello everyone! Thought it might be time for me and my wife to get involved with the online community and take advantage of the wealth of experience and information out there.

A little about us... We're "Birdie Lovers," a husband and wife team who love birds. We believe in: proactive pet bird advocacy and behavioral education; fresh, varied, and appropriate diets; high toy turnover and environmental stimulation; full spectrum lighting; plenty of chew toys; stress-free safe surroundings; ethical breeding practices; stewardship of endangered species; bigger cages; and of course, plenty of love and interaction. We firmly believe that feather plucking is the result of a lack of understanding of the aforementioned.

We look forward to helping to sponsor this site and getting to know our fellow "Birdie Lovers" Please have a moderator contact us soon via PM! Thanks!

A warm welcome from the forums, pleased to meet you and the flock!

Sounds like you have quite a flock there, very big. How very blessed you are to own queen of Bavaria Conures, they're so beautiful. I am looking forward to learning more about what you do, and meeting the birds.

Thank you so much from my wife and I. Yes. I suppose it is pretty big, but it has grown over time and everybody gets the love and cleanliness they need and more. Needless to say, we have by now, got cleaning, feeding and showering routines down to a science and its like autopilot. LOL! But all the love and conversation they get before and after work is as individualized as the individual. Right down to the last keet.

The conures are special and we are doing out ecological part by letting them do what nature intended. So far... some grand attempts, but no prizes... but that's okay, the female is still young, and they the rest of their lives to figure it out. LOL! Parakeets on the other hand... sheesh. No problems there! LOL!

What an Awesome photo of a CAG. We are so happy to have you. I purchased my TAG from a breeder in Fla with the name Jean Patterson (African Queen). Have you hear of her? If I were a bird I would want to live in your home.

Sorry, I do not know her. There are so many people breeding Greys these days - right or wrong, I think there are too many.
