Hello from Strasbourg

Hi everybody,

I am happy to join this forum, we are living in Strasbourg (France, Europe) with one Eclectus. This kind of parrot is not very usual here around (grey African are more common) so I would be glad to share information and get advises from experienced owners.

Our ekkie is living with us, he is 15 months old and was raised by its parents.

We have it since he is 3 months old.

When we are at home, Kiwi is free to fly out his cage.

You are a close neighbor of mine.... I was born in Mannheim / Germany and one of our School trip (like every class had to make in a certain grade - can't remember anymore exactly how old I was) had to go to Strasbourg of course. A wonderful city indeed. Since 2005 my home is now Canada - much bigger and quieter than Germany. We do own Lovebirds (Rascals) and one 7 year "young" African Ringneck girl we adopted a couple weeks ago.
*now I have to google what your bird looks a like... Ohhh wow! What a beauty! Nice parrot.*
