Hello from Rhode Island

Hi there

I am a bird lover and currently have a Green Cheek Conure named Cherbil and a American Parrotlet named Hot Pocket. I miss these types of forums. It seems that everyone is on Facebook instead. I think these forums are much better focused and I look forward to seeing pics of your birds and learning from you.

Welcome be welcomed. No doubt to hear from the only parrot owner in R.I. Is it true there is only one neighborhood in RI? My friend Kevin said you can throw an apple for one side of the state to the other. Do you know him, his name is Kevin? That there is no state parks, because it would , you know, take up the whole state? Kidding, of course.

Wrench- yes there is only one neighborhood in RI, it's called Quahog. Don't you watch TV? I doubt he knows Kevin but he probably knows Peter, Quagmire, Cleveland, and the whole gang.

I wonder if Brian is the only talking dog in the state or if that is a common phenomenon there. Only the OP can fill us in.

All joking aside (no offense was intended) I will say this- I've been on the internet for about 22 years and that's the first time I've read the words "I'm from RI" so it really is that small.

Sorry one more joke about RI. The GDP for the state is 4. Not 4 million... just 4. Coz it's tiny.
