Hello from Alabama

Hello everyone. I have been browsing this site for a month or so, getting really good advice. Finally taking time to introduce Happy to everyone. Happy was given to me in July from his home of 12 years. His male owner passed away 3 years ago so his wife had been taking care of him since. She is 84 years old and knew it was time to find him a home. I am very blessed to have met her and that she trusted me to care for Happy.
Happy bonded with me the day after I brought him home.
He gives me kisses and loves to be petted. He is finally bonding with hubby. But still only talks when I'm home.
With this being or first parrot to own I feel extremely lucky that things have gone so smooth.
I love this this little guy more than I ever knew was possible and I know I'm so lucky to have him in my life.
