Hello,
My name is Logan and my wife, Donna, and family are from Alabama.
We are happy bird owners with a total of 6 birds with a combo of rescue and purchased birds. We have 1 blue and gold, 1 goffin, 1 triton cockatoo, 2 sun conures, and finally a green cheeked conure. My wife has dreams of rescuing more birds one day, but then i hope to have a larger house, too. I hope to always learn more in better care of my birds, and i hope we can help others also. Thanks for letting us join these forums and hope to chat with all soon.

Hey.

The 2 i have where resuce birds, they lived in the bottom of a box for over a year, and when i got them they couldnt even pearch. Sad is it not? I veiw the sun and the most beautiful of the birds, but they came from a local breader here in alabama, im working on trying to find them so when i can find more info on them i will pass it on to you.

Hi Logan,

Welcome! Your fids are absolutely beautiful, I am partial to your Suns. We are on the list of families trying to adoption one here in my area, I hope we are chosen and I can't wait. Your babies are so colourful, do they all get along well? I currently have a Congo African Grey and am hoping he takes well to the new baby that's possibly coming.

Thanks for sharing your pics...... April

Hi Logan,
I'm pretty new here too, and really like the forum. Lots of friendly people.

I also have a blue and gold and we're looking for another bird or two as well. I think I'd like to find a little cockatiel, and also another smaller parrot. Birds are just so much fun, so loving, and do so much to bring cheer into our homes.

Nice to meet you, looking forward to chatting with you.

Welcome Logan, Donna, the family and all the :rainbow1:

I agree with you. suns are what got me into birds. In atalanta zoo they have a outdoor cage with about 100 suns in it. A beautiful flock of color, almost what u would see in the wild i think. They get along great, i think there time in the box before we got them they bonded. Now they are not fully tame, but they will let u pick them up together, and amazing they dont bite. the wife and i decided to let them stay together, and as long as we can handle them all is good, and i dont want to break them up.Im glad we have them they are still my fav birds to look at.
