I am David and the proud owner/father of 2 Sun Conures, Peaches and Pericles. They are both young, under 2 years old, with Peri being a male (I think) and Peaches a female (I think). My interests are to enjoy them completely and for them to have safe, happy, fun lives. I am 55 so I am hoping to be around for the next 20-25 years of their lives...maybe more if we all get lucky .

So if you are a Sun Conure owner, lover and want to give a newbie some advice please feel free to reach out.

Welcome to the forums David & congrats on your choice of feathered friends.....

Do you vacation in Connecticut or the other way around? That's a nice drive, around 1,800 miles & about 26-27 hours, depending on where to where.....

I've lived in Texas & going the other way, home is just up the coast a bit, on Narragansett Bay.....

There are quite a few sun owners around here & I'm sure all full of tips, techniques & advice, but it's often easier if you were to ask questions, that way you get the info you're looking for first.....

If you've got pics of your guys, you might want to post some pics, if you're into picture taking...others will be asking you for them, some members dote on pics as much as they do their birds.....how long have you had your suns?
