Parrots
2 umbrella cockatoo's
I am New to Parrots, but have raised lots of other animals & done lots of rescue work. I am learning all about these guys. I have a Pair Angel the male is 7, honey the female is 5. they are super sweet and were hand raised . thier mom sadly could no longer keep them and asked me to give them a new forever home.

Hi! I'm pretty new too! I've been living on this site for the past week while I figure out how to raise my "babies" properly! We have quite a bit in common. I've been doing animal rescue for 20+ yrs. This is the first time owning a parrot though!
What kind of parrots do you have?

I have a small Mini Farm and knew the Lady who owned my birds, she came to me bcause she was going to be unable to care for them. and she knew i would give them lots of love and spend lotsw of time with them. I don't have an extensive knowledge on Parrots but i have had small birds and been around Parrots. My Mom was also a vet tech for a vet who saw from birds to horses for over 15 years. She did give me alot of advice and info. As well i have a good parrot friend on Fb who sent me here and will mentor me. They are very nice birds. the little girl needs alot of love right now. Her Mom had been home with them and had to go back to work full time so she was stressed and pulling her feathers. they are doingwell so far eattignand are both lettign me handle them

I have only had them for a few days now, I have to learn how to upload pic's on here too. I do have one thing we are working on, she was pulling feathers from stress, she was not getting as much attention as she once was, as her previous owner had to start working more than before. So I am hoping we can get that to come to a stop and get them coming backin nicely
