Hi,
I'm new to this and it took me forever to figure out how to post something, but here we go. I currently own a B&G Macaw that is approx 7 (I've owned him for over three years). He is the first bird I ever owned and fortunately he turned out to be a great bird. I've learned a lot from him and couldn't be happier. I am now ready to get him a friend, but I can't decide on what type I want. I rescued a couple amazons and took care of them for a year, but eventually found them hopefully their forever home. They were really entertaining and I am thinking I would like to get a yellow naped amazon, but I would really appreciate anyone's input. Also, a friend and I was going to get siblings and she is new to birds so I wasn't sure if an amazon might be a more difficult bird for starting out...I didn't have much trouble with my macaw so I was thinking she should be fine. She's very good at handling my macaw, too. Thanks, much appreciated!
