Hello my name is Oli and I am a total newbie as a bird owner. ( used to have a dog but he died at age 14 earlier this year >__<)

A lovely 1-year-old Mealy Amazon - Yuri , joins my family about 10 days ago!
I have joined a short course for parrot owners, and did a lot of research on Youtube and different media before I made the decision of keeping a bird as our new family member, but I still find myself quite puzzled when Yuri does/ does not do certain things...

I think this forum is awesome and very informative. Hope I can learn a lot from all of you and share many happiness =D
