Heard new amazon talk!

I've had my new yellow naped for a while(1 month), and i was told she is a talker and never heard her talk yet. so yesterday as i was walking down to the 2nd floor i accommodated her with my usual " hi coco" and she replied by saying hello,but wouldn't say it again, how long will it take until she starts saying her words comfortably?

If she was a talker she will probably start talking more as she gets comforable with you and her new environment. are you home all the time? maybe she is saying stuff when nobody is around. I would just keep talking to her and by the the way do you know what she used to say for words? I by the way do not have much on the way of zon experience however their are a lot of very experienced zon owners here that I am sure will have better ideas

When I first got my OWA he would only talk when there was background noise such as the vacuum or hair dryer. It will take longer than a month for her to trust you & start talking more.

when we first got remington he would only talk when people weren't around~ I would tell everyone he was a closet talker!

You will probably find that now he has said something, he will start to say different words all the time. The more you talk to him, the more he will say

My bf Maxie only talks when she feels like it. She wakes me up every morning by barking, when she hears me laughing,she will start laughing. She likes to say" Hi Maxie!" "What cha doing?" She will speak sentences,but sometimes is hard to understand.
