healthy "fast food" for parrots

Hi guys!

My better half and myself both work full time, so occasionally, when i'm in a rush during lunch I save myself time by buying my birds food in the deli shop near work. The veg are always fresh and the selection is quite diverse. This way I can actually spend my time playing, cuddling and eating with my birds before rushing back to work - and they still get their portion of daily fresh fruit/veg!

It's such a simple thing and maybe some of you do this too but if you don't - it's handy to know!

i'm sure the birds love it. I have been often keeping fresh salad ingredients that i can throw in a bowl and eat quickly and share with Gilbert. I haven't done the salad bar, pre-chopped yet. Good idea.
