He did it! :)

Bobby just took food from my open hand. Inside his cage, first he was so nervous... up down, up down, but he did it. The second time, he was still a bit scared, he tested my finger, which scared him as it wasn't the carrot, lol. Then he came back after a mo for the carrot. I am so happy... he's awesome.

Now, just got to get him to do it without being as scared, and then to get him to do it in front of hubby so he believes me.

We've had him just over 3 weeks. I can't believe what a little character he is.

I have a picture of him on my head. He likes nipping my ears too but not in a nasty way, I just don't think he knows what everything is just yet. He likes my glasses too.

He need time to settle down and get used to his new surrounding, his new flock etc .
Take baby steps, let him come to you when he is ready and willing, a strong bond will then take place as he begins to trust you.

Thanks. He's come such a long way already. I'm impressed. He's taking his time, if he's not happy he just goes back to his cage. He loves being out though, and playing with everything he can get his beak on.
