Hi to all lovebird owners and lovebird fans
My partner and I want to get lovebirds. I have a few questions for lovebird owners out there who have had experience with having two bonded birdies that are tame.
If we get 2 lovebirds that have been hand fed and are tame, and they are the same gender and are bonded, would they eventually not care to have any kind of affectionate interaction with their owners as they get older since the two birds have each other?
I am sure it all depends on how often the bird owners interact with the bird, and there are various environmental and genetic factors like the birdies' temperaments, however I am curious to hear other individuals' experiences on this!
I know it's kind of selfish of me, however I do want my potential future birdies and I to have some bond, however if it's known that having two bonded birdies means there is very little affection towards the owners, I may not get lovebirds after all . I may get a dog instead hah!
Thank you to anyone who responds to this thread. It is very much appreciated!!!!!
